Once a Physics and Maths teacher, hailing from Northern Ireland, I have been lucky enough to work in many countries less well-travelled by Western Europeans. Tajikistan in 2012 introduced me to the post-Soviet world, where Russian influence left its mark on a culture that maintains a strong sense of identity, as it rises from the collapse of the Soviet and Russian empire. A land and people very different in many ways, but with a strong sense of common humanity. Tanzania in 2013 showed itself a place of diverse landscapes, welcoming people and breathtaking nature. Ethiopia in 2014 showed me all of these things and more. A land where two main religions, Orthodox Christianity and Islam co-exist peacefully, as do the volcanic deserts with arid savannah, tropical rainforests and alpine peaks.
As I go on living in Georgia, the country continues to inspire me with its natural beauty and diversity, the incredible, creative, generous people and the wine. I hope it will inspire you too. To learn more about Georgia, take a look at the blog section.
This project is born of my passion for Georgia, its landscapes and people. In order to guarantee an authentic experience and a warm welcome, we work only with small family owned and independent hotels guesthouses and wineries.
We're committed to providing the best possible experience to our customers. As a less well-known destination, it is my goal to show as many people as possible the wonder and magic of this incredible country.
